The Emergency Division at UHC prepared 24 hours to receive any emergency cases within UPM particularly amongst students residing in colleges within the campus.  This service gives priority to emergency cases according to the severity of the patient’s symptoms and condition. This service is managed by Registered Assistant Medical Officers, Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Ambulance Drivers.

The Emergency Service is divided into 3 units to help expedite the service rendered :

• Treatment & Sterilization Section
• Emergency Section
• Standby Section
