Pharmacy

Pharmaceutical Service is one of the support services available at the University Health Center, UPM. It consists of 3 main serviecs, namely to supply First Aid items, to dispense medications for acute and chronic patients and medication consultancy.

Medication counseling services are provided to enhance the understanding and knowledge of the patient to medication taken and medical aids are used.

Services was conducted on an outpatient either individually or collectively. between criteria counseled patients are:

• Patients with chronic diseases such as heart, Asthma, Diabetes Mellitus
• Patients using medical aids such as inhalers, interferon pen, insulin pen and 'nasal spray'
• Warfarin discharge theraphy
• Geriatrik Patients who have difficulty regarding medical discription
• Endocrine therapy upon discharge such as hyperthyroidsm
